Your Baby at 4 Months Old

Your baby will be undergoing many distinct changes in behavior and appearance during this month, and he or she will be much more involved in things such as playtime.

Feeding    At this time, it should be okay for your baby to start juices and cereal, but you should check with your baby's pediatrician. It is also normal for your baby to continue breast milk or formula feedings.

Sleep    Your baby should now be sleeping around 10 hours a night and taking 2-3 hour naps during the day. The baby may show signs of sleepiness by rubbing the eyes, yawning, not wanting to play, or just being cranky.
