Your Baby at 5 Months Old

At 5 months your baby may be more flexiable. He or she will probably be able to suck on his or her toes. At the end of 5 months your baby will probably weigh twice his or her weight since birth.

Feeding    Your baby may be starting on solid foods now at 5 months. It is normal for your baby to resist these foods at the beginning, but will later enjoy them. This may be a good month to start your baby out with a sipping cup, to introduce him or her to drinking out of a cup.

Growth and Development    During the 5th month your baby's physical activity increases, so if you find that the infant seat is becoming inappropiate, then it may be a good idea to buy a "bouncy" seat. This will help entertain and help your baby to feel more independent.

Do you see the doggy drinking out of the toilet!
